Limonium sinuatum (L.) Mill.
Habit: Erect, 20--50 cm. Stem: rough-hairy, narrowly 3--5-winged; +- linear leaf-like bracts generally present at stem branch points. Leaf: petiole < to > blade, winged; blade 3--12 cm, +- obovate, pinnately lobed, rough-hairy, base tapered. Inflorescence: wings <= 5 mm wide; clusters 2-flowered, crowded in terminal 1--3 cm at branch tips; flower bracts 5--7 mm, proximal awned, distal irregularly lobed. Flower: calyx 10--12 mm, blue, tube short-stiff-hairy; corolla > calyx, white to pale yellow.
Ecology: Disturbed coastal areas, roadsides; Elevation: < 300 m. Bioregional Distribution: CCo, SnFrB, SCoRO, SCo; Distribution Outside California: native to Mediterranean, western Asia. Flowering Time: All year
