Note: Murray's description of Ulva crispa from rocks at Manora (Karachi) suggests Ulva fasciata Delile (q.v.) rather than Prasiola crispa. Although Murray did not include U. fasciata in his published list, a specimen of this species that he collected from rocks at Manora is housed at CAL (Biswas, 1945: 527–528, pl. I: fig. 1).
