Correspondence and Comments Subsequent to Initial Analysis
Correspondence 1 29 May 2007 e-mail from Richard Moe, including forwarded e-mail from Margriet Wetherwax see Comment 1
Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates, in response to an e-mail from Wetherwax stating, "This species [sic] is from Baja California Sur, Eastern escarpment of Cerro Mechudo between Portezuelo de San Antonio and La Sabanilla, Sierra de la Giganta, 675m, 24 49 N, 110 44 W Reid Moran 18990 1971-11-4. See Novon 9(4): 565 (1999). UC has the holotype.", that this name probably was entered erroneously into SMASCH as a California record and from there went into this Index via the types table, and that in fact there are no records at UC/JEPS of Marsdenia carterae W. D. Stevens & Juarez-Jaimes from California.
