Participation in the Consortium of California Herbaria as a data provider is open to herbaria that meet the following minimum requirements for data inclusion:

1. Establishing an account in the CCH2 data portal.
2. Specimens are available for consultation, preferably via loan.
3. Personnel are available at the home institution to address possible errors and make corrections as necessary.
4. Herbarium is registered with Index Herbariorum.

Data from CCH2 is periodically added to the new CCH1 California specimen data portal.
