On the west side of the Canyon Creek Trail, about 50 yards southeast of the foot bridge across Boyce Ravine, trail on the north side of the North Fork of the Yuba River, about one mile west of Highway 49, about 2 miles west of Indian Valley. T1 N R08E S1 W 1⁄4
South of Prosser Creek, south side of Carpenter Valley, about 200 yards north of the poor dirt road, aobut 4 miles (air) west x southwest of Hobart Mills, about 5.2 miles (air) northwest of Truckee, southeast corner of Carpenter Valley. T1 N R15E S2 W 1⁄4
Nevada County: North of the town of Truckee. Along Alder Creek Road, 0.2 miles west of junction with Hwy 8 N. Between Alder Creek and Alder Creek Road, near large pine tree on south side of road.
El Dorado County: W shore of Lake Tahoe, Sugar Pine Point State Park, Along road connecting North Fire Road and South Fire Road adjacent to bridge at NE corner.
Placer County: Northwestern corner of the Tahoe Basin. Burton Creek State Park. Burton Creek Natural Reserve, Meadow to the SE of Antone Meadow. Along Burton Creek in upstream part of meadows.
Placer County: Northwestern corner of the Tahoe Basin. Burton Creek State Park. Burton Natural Reserve, meadow to the SE of Antone Meadow. In southeast, downstream, portion of the meadow.

Near Monarch Wilderness; Started at Deer Meadow trail, near 36.75 N 118.76 W. Ended near 36.79 N 118.76 W.Trail climbs up through coniferous forests, with some rock outcrops, to saddle. Then down to Deer Meadow. Another smaller meadow down trail, north of here, close to the wilderness boundary. Traveled a short distance (north) beyond the second meadow.
