Habitat  ?   Floodplain along wash, slope 2 °, facing S10E. Quaternary alluvium, Pleistocene and Miocene non-marine deposits. Assoc. with Larrea tridentata, Olneya tesota, Allionia incarnata, Bouteloua barbata, Parkinsonia florisa, Chamaesyce abramsiana, C. micromera, Ambrosia dumosa, Lycium, Krameria, Sphaeralcea ambigua, Bouteloua aritidoides, Datura, Psorothamnus spinosus, Ambrosia salsola, Pectis papposa. 
Notes  ?   Prostrate annual. Locally frequent, c. 1500 plants mostly on the south side of Milpitas Wash Road. Aspect there S65E.
