Habitat  ?   Cracks in sandstone outcrops. Surrounding area is open chaparral and grassland. 
Notes  ?   Aromatic, glandular subshrub, stems simple, many, 1-3″ long, very leafy. Upper lvs linear, 3-5 mm, lower 15-25 mm, with 0-4 linear lobs. 8 ray fls, 23 disk flowers, yellow. 1 series of phyllaries, strongly keeled phyllaries, partially enclosing ray akenes. ray akene with short beak.
