Habitat  ?   Salt bush scrub and alkali sink with clay pans, scattered Yucca brevifolia on dune ridges; assoc. with Atriplex polycarpa, A. lentiformis, A. spinescens, Artemisia spinescens, Lycium andersonii, L. cooperi, Grayis spinosa and Calochortus striatus. Flat hard crusted soil with old dunes.
