Habitat  ?   Disturbed alkali grassland. Associated sp. include Bromus diandrus, Phalaris minor, Hordeum intercedens, Lactuca serriola, Suaeda moquinii, Bassia hyssopifolia, Rumex maritimus, Bromus rubens. Found on Willows silty-clay, saline-alkali. 
Notes  ?   An uncommon, annual weed 36cm high with yellow flowers. Terminal spines yellow, 1.5cm long.
