Habitat  ?   Chaparral, mostly disturbed, in low density residential area proposed for further subdivision. Granitic hills with occasional boulder outcrops, decomposed granite soil; except for gabbro hill at 33 ° 31′ 18″N, 116 ° 57′ 32″W with silty clay soil and slopes smooth with few boulders. Parcel cut by washes. Coast live oak grove just off parcel in canyon near windmill marked on topo.
