Habitat  ?   Pine/oak forest with Ceanothus palmeri, Quercus kelloggii, Q. chrysolepis, Calocedrus decurrens, Pteridium aquilinum, Apocynum androsaemifolium. Area burned in 2003 Cedar Fire and is mostly dominated by Ceanothus palmeri at present.
