Whisky Bill Peak 7.5′ USGS quad. ˜ 1.52 miles S of Red Mountain and below FS road 3 N08Y. Growing along a Class II Watercourse which had a lot of seeps and meadow areas on its banks within a mixed conifer forest. Associated plants:, Mimulus sp., Adiantum aleuticum, Hastingsia alba, Platanthera stricta, Carex echinata, Lilium pardalinum, Rudbeckia californica, Rhododendron occidentalis. Serpentinized peridotite soil.
