Habitat  ?   On a hill top, completely exposed to sunlight. Dry, crumbly soil. Aesculus californica trees on either side. 
Morphology Notes  ?   Palmately compound leaves with Smooth margins. Flowers present in an erect raceme. No fruits present. Associates include Toxicodendron diversilobu, Rubus ursinus, and Trifolium spp.
