| Morphology Notes ? | Low end of meadow, on west side has small, deep, slow running creek with a myriad of invertebrates, tadpoles, black color leech (or leech-like worms). Associated plant species include: Rhododendron columbianum, Kalmia polifolia, Salix eastwoodiae, Hymenoxys hoopesii, Veratrum californicum, Lupinus polyphyllus burkei, Erigeron coulteri, E. glacialis, Oreostemma alpigenum andersonii, Senecio scorzonella, Gentianopsis holopetata, Mimulus primuloides, Potentilla gracilis fastigiata, Bistorta bistortoides, Pedicularis attollens, Perideridia parishii latifolia, Ligusticum grayi, Spiranthes romanzoffiana, Carex mariposana, C. integra, C. utriculata, C. capitata, C. scopulorum bracteosa, Agrostis idahoensis, A. humilis, A. lepida, Deschampsia cespitosa, Phleum alpinum, and Torreyochloa erecta. | |
