Associated plant species include: Pinus jeffreyi, Abies concolor, Calocedrus decurrens, Quercus kelloggii, Populus trichocarpa, Salix lasiolepis, S. lutea, S. scouleriana, Alnus rhombifolia, Ribes nevadense, R. cereum, Equisetum hyemale affine, E. laevigatum, E. arvense, Mimulus cardinalis, Athyrium filix-femina cyclosorum, Castilleja miniata, Heracleum lanatum, Stachys albens, and Aquilegia formosa. Growing along damp creek side.
