Habitat  ?   Southeast-sloping, moderately moist thicket (Alnus incana var. tenuifolia and Fangula purshiana ssp. annonifolia), and partial shade of surrounding forest (white fir, red fir, incense cedar); No surface moisture, no drainage through the thicket.
