Locality  ?   San Bernardino National Forest: collecting on a hill with multiple peaks, between Moon Ridge and Green Canyon, south of forest service road 2N27, in the vicinity of Green Spot.; Moonridge Quad.  
Habitat  ?   Sloping pebble-plain habitat in open sunny exposed area transitioning into a shady forest down slope with Pinus jeffreyi, Juniperus occidentalis ssp. australis, Quercus kelloggii, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Arctostaphylos patula, Opuntia basilaris, Linanthus pungens, Lomatium nevadense ssp. parishii, Pedicularis semibarbata, Calochortus invenustus, Stephanomeria exigua, Chaenactis santolinoides, Fritillaria pinetorum, Arabis parishii, and Phlox dolichantha. 
Morphology Notes  ?   18 individuals seen at this location on shady north-facing slope growing in pine duff. All in fruit. Many more plants seen in the area on the hike back to the field vehicle, also on shady north-facing slope growing in pine duff and leaf litter.
