Morphology Notes  ?   Few braided small creeks along the Santa Ana River, just west from where Heart Bar and Coon Creek tributaries meet. This small creek had little puddles of water within it. Large level areas with sandy, rocky environment on benches above. I don′t know why but a large amount of scat from Ursus americanus was in this creek, maybe close to the equestrian camp. Open forest of Pinus jeffreyi, P. monophylla, Juniperus occidentalis australis, Quercus kelloggii, Arctostaphylos patula, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Tetradymia canescens, Salvia pachyphylla, Eriogonun wrightii subscaposum, Penstemon labrosus, Koeleria macrantha, Artemisia tridentata vaseyana, Chrysothamnus nauseosus bernardinus, C. viscidiflorus, and Gutierrezia sarothrae away from the riparian area. Wet areas had: Salix lasiolepis, Populus trichocarpa ingrata, Castilleja miniata, Horkelia rydberii, Achillea millefolium, Trifolium variegatum, Mimulus guttatus, M. parishii, M. pilosus, M. floribudus, Carex subfusca, C. alma, Equisetum laevigatum, Juncus balticus ater, J. macrophyllus, J. bufonius, J. tiehmii, Agrostis exarata, and Muhlenbergia richardsonis.
