Morphology Notes ? | Steep north-facing slope, with thick woodland of Pinus monophylla, Quercus x alvordiana, heavy vine growth of Pholistoma membranaceum under trees. More mesic habitat than surrounding rolling, grassy hillsides, and bottom of Bitter Creek. Associated species include: Juniperus californica, Ribes quercetorum, Ericameria linearifolia, Chenopodium californicum, Lomatium macrocarpum, Osmorhiza brachypoda, Plagiobothrys tenellus, P. arizonicus, Allophyllum gilioides, Leptosiphon pygmaeus, L. liniflorus, Phlox gracilis, Gilia austro-occidentalis, G. jacens, Collinsia bartsiifolia davidsonii, Yabea microcarpa, Athysanus pusillus, Aphanes occidentalis, Lasthenia microglossa, L. gracilis, Thysanocarpus curvipes, Allium peninsulare, Bromus tectorum, B. madritensis rubens, B. hordeaceus, B. diandrus, Erodium cicutarium, Lithophragma parviflorum, L. cymbalaria, Stellaria nitens, Cryptantha sparsiflora, C. flaccida, Galium aparine, Guillenia lasiophylla, Tropidocarpum gracile, Sisymbrium altissimum, Minuartia douglasii, Poa bulbosa vivipara, and Erysimum capitatum. | |
