Common asssociates include: Juniperus californica, Yucca whipplei, Ericameria cooperi, Eriogonum fasciculatum var. polifolium, Quercus john-tuckeri, Artemisia tridentata, Phacelia distans, Layia glandulosa, Lomatium mohavense, Stephanomeria pauciflora, Amsinckia tessallata, Phacelia fremontii, Phacelia cicutaria, Lotus strigosus. Common.
