Associates include; Alnus rhombifolia, Platanus racemosa, Artemisia douglasiana, Fraxinus velutina, Rumex salicifolius, Stachys albens, Poa pratensis, Polypogon monspeliensis, Piptatherum miliaceum, Rorippa nasturtium-aquaticum, Festuca arundinacea, Castilleja minor spiralis, C. lasiorhyncha, Deschampsia danthonoides, Elytrigia intermedia, Lupinus latifolius, Mimulus parishii, M. palmeri, Phacelia mohavensis, Trichostema micranthum, Equisetum, sp, Carex, sp. and Juncus, sp. Purple flowered.
