At junction of roads 3N34 and 2N27Y, east of Ash Mountain, and north of Little Bear Creek, just west of Deep Creek. South of Rouse Meadow.; Lake Arrowhead 7.5 Quad.
Small creek with water flowing at a very gentle slope, east of the road. Area has been planted with Pinus coulteri as the larger native pines all succumbed to the fire that burned here. Open low rounded hills with associates of; Quercus chrysolepis, Q. wislizeni, Cercocarpus betuloides, Eriodictyon trichocalyx, Turricula parryi on slopes. Along creek and near to are Elymus glaucus, Elytrigia intermedia, Bromus tectorum, B. hordeaceus, Castilleja lasiorhyncha, Brodiaea terrestris kernensis, Juncus tiehmii, J. bufonius, Horkelia rydbergii, Mimulus palmeri, M. floribundus, Delphinium parishii and Cirsium occidentale californicum.
