Shady canyon site. East side of canyon, close to edge of slope. Other exotics that have been planted here are: Acacia dealbata, Bougainvillea glabra, Aesculus californica, Vinca major, Agave americana, Aloe sp., Nerium oleader, Carya illinoensis, Grevillea robusta, Pinus canariensis, and Cedrus deodara. The native or naturalizing species are: Platanus racemosa, Quercus agrifolia, Salix laevigata, Arundo donax, Piptatherum miliaceum, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Sambucus mexicana, Heteromeles arbutifolia, Helianthus annuus, Hirschfeldia incana, Gnaphalium purpureum, Phacelia minor, Polycarpon tetraphyllum and Bromus madritensis rubens. About 15 feet tall.
