| Morphology Notes ? | Southeast side of the mountains above East Cronise Dry Lake. Dry rocky sandy river bed at base of dunes. Area has sedimentary rocks and soil overlay on Granite or other crystalline bedrock, with a steep sand dune above canyon. Other associated species include: Tidestromia oblongifolia, Larrea tridentata, Hymenoclea salsola, Peucephyllum schottii, Pleurocoronis pluriseta, Encelia farinosa, Ambrosia dumosa, Bebbia juncea, Atriplex polycarpa, Ephedra nevadensis, Opuntia basilaris, Echinocactus polycephalus, Dicoria canescens, Chorizanthe rigida, C. brevicornu, Phacelia crenulata, Chamaesyce micromera, Physalis crassifolia, Croton californicus, Palafoxia arida, Pleuraphis rigida, Stillingia spinulosa, Cucurbita palmata, Salsola tragus, Eriogonum inflatum, Mammillaria tetrancistra and Hesperocallis undulata. Growing out of hard bedrock along canyon wall. | |
