Habitat  ?   Gently rolling granitic terrain, breaking eastward into steep-sided, entrenched canyon. Area of considerable spring activity. Seepages with Vitis, Solidago, Juncus mexicanus, Sporobolus airoides, Muhlenbergia rigens, Distichlis spicata, surrounding scrub of Eriogonum fasciculatum var. polifolium, Ericameria linearifolia, Salazaria mexicana, and Yucca brevifolia. 
Morphology Notes  ?   Annual, strongly aromatic, flowers yellow. Locally common in sandy areas over granite bedrock, areas with some subsurface water.
