Associated with Adenostoma fasciculatum, Brassica sp., Cercocarpus betuloides, Eucrypta chrysanthemifolia, Lessingia filaginifolia, Lonicera subspicata, Malosma laurina, Marah macrocarpus, Marrubium vulgare, Paeonia californica, Quercus durata gabrielensis, Rhus trilobata, and Salvia mellifera. Localized shrub up to 9 ft. tall, yellow flowers with reddish outside. Golden currant.
