Habitat  ?   Chaparral with Adenostoma fasciculatum, Salvia clevelandii, S. apiana, Rhamnus ilicifolia, Quercus berberidifolia, Arctostaphylos rainbowensis, etc. Contact zone between gabbroic and granitic substrates with cobbley clay and sandy soils; aspect ENE; slope 60-140 percent.
