Heavily disturbed site currently used for refuse disposal. A few taxa apparently introduced by the forest service (Pinus coulteri, Cupressus arizonica, Calocedrus decurrens). Native vegetation appears to have been pinyon woodland (Pinus monophylla) and desert transition chaparral (Quercus john-tuckeri, Ceanothus greggii vestitus, Fremontodendron californicum, Yucca whipplei, Artemesia tridentata, Cercocarpus betuloides, Stipa speciosa, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Ericameria linearifolia, Eridictyon trichocalyx, Eriastrum densifolium, etc.
Annual scattered locally but not common. Style ca 2 mm long; capsule ca 5-7mm long and 2-3 mm wide; seeds in more that 1 row in distal portion of capsule, irregularly angled.
