Morphology Notes  ?   Steep scree slopes with scattered Pinus spp., Abies concolor, Ceanothus cordulatus, Artemisia tridentata, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Ribes roezlii, Ribes cereum, Holodiscus microphyllus, etc. Herbaceous perennial from a bulb, with numerous rice-grain bulblets present, occasional locally in scree below the ridgetop trail; leaves +- glaucous; perianth segments chocolate-brown distally, with chocolate spotting and streading against a greenish-cream background proximally; anthers orange to salmon-pink.
