Palomar Range, Agua Tibia Wilderness Area, northern flank of Agua Tibia Mountain at the eastern edge of the Dripping Springs Alcove in tributary of Arroyo Seco, west of the lower Dripping Springs Trail, just south of the Wilderness boundary.
Chaparral of Adenostoma fasciculatum, Ceanothus crassifolium, C. leucodermis, Arctostaphylos glauca, and Eriodictyon crassifolium, on slopes; alluvial fan with open scrub of Adenostoma fasciculatum, Ceanothus crassifolium, Eriodictyon crassifolium, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Lotus scoparius, and scattered Quercus agrifolia and Platanus racemosa.
