Habitat  ?   Large seepy area on fairly steep northwesterly slope; dominant trees in the area include Pinus jeffreyi, Abies concolor, Calocedrus decurrens, and Pseudotsuga macrocarpa. Pteridium aquilinum pubescens dominating the understory throughout the spring area. 
Morphology Notes  ?   Herbaceous perennial from a rhizzomatous root system, occasional about seepage. Flowering plants 3-6dm tall; Corolla white or very pale pinkish-lavendar;lateral filaments and markings on the limb +- violet.
