Morphology Notes  ?   Locally abundant and gregarious in shallow water of small stream, flowers white mostly mnot fully opened, leaves bright to dullish green above, some tinged with purplish red stipular leaft, sheaths a pale, dull rose, frequently darker at base, some but not all, are bristly ciliate, stems, like under surface of leaves, a rather light green above below, stems dusky hued and decumbent, 1.5ft high
