Morphology Notes  ?   Very steep broken-up lava flow. Supplementary collections: photo. Found with Douglas Fir, Abies concolor, Mountain mahogany, some Sugar Pine, and some Pinus ponderosa. Northwest exposure. Growing right in the rocky lava flow. The Goose Nest Northwest Grove must extend up and down Goose Nest for a good mile and maybe the other way for a half mile. DBH 28.4806.
