Morphology Notes  ?   Very steep broken-up lava flow. Supplementary collections: photo. Found with Douglas Fir, Abies concolor, Mountain mahogany, some Sugar Pine, and some Pinus ponderosa. Northwest exposure. Growing right in the rocky lava flow. The Goose Nest Northwest Grove must extend up and down Goose Nest for a good mile and maybe the other way for a half mile. DBH 28.4806. Estimated height at 50 feet. See Remarks under Herbarium Specimen #33 for further information. Picture # 3-454 75 3 Base of second largest Bakers Cypress found in Northwest Goose Nest.
