Habitat  ?   Canyon walls cliffy. Last lodgepole for. here at head of mead; subalp. for. sparse above, heavier in protected pockets; all alpine above Martha L. 
Morphology Notes  ?   Most of this Penstemon in fruit around rocky outcrop on W side of Canyon floor in first Lodgepoles.
