Locality  ?   3 miles S of Kerman on Madera AVe, Alkali flat in valley grassland.  
Habitat  ?   Growing in alkali soil alongside of road, very tolerant to alkali. Grasses in dry condition including melilotus, Baeria, Erodium, Bromus rubens, Saltgrass. 
Morphology Notes  ?   Wislizenia grows from 1-4ft high, will spread out if disturbed by automobile or other mechanical means. Plants pulls out of ground easily having a tap root which usually breaks off toward its tip. The bees are attracted to these flowers in great numbers which make it an important plant to bee keepers
