Subalpine forest to 11200ft. alt 12000ft.In Upper Cirgue SE of 10,000 Mott Lake, 1 1-2 miles from headwaters N Fork Mono Creek; 2 1-2 miles W of 12,841 Red and White Mt. on Sierran crest.  
Habitat  ?   Basin mostly alpine with extensive areas herbaceous alpine cover.
