Drainage between rolling hills, facing N09W. Sand and gravel soil among rock outcrops. Undivided Tertiary sandstone, shale, conglomerate, breccia, and ancient lake deposits. Local rock possibly granite porphyry. Typha domingensis vegetation at spring orifice, Baccharis sarothroides vegetation just below orifice, and Prosopis glandulosa var. torreyana vegetation in wash below spring.
