Large wash below rocky hills. Wash gently sloped, facing N10W. Banks steeper, ca. 5-30 degrees, facing east and west. Sandstone- conglomerate- bentonite (with gypsum*) outcrops and alluvium. Miocene and Pliocene sediments and flows. Creosote bush - bursage scrub.
