Morphology Notes  ?   Erect annual 3-5' tall; linear maroon lvs; lower branch lvs alt, almost appear pinnate, upper lvs single, ~7mm x < 1mm wide. Open panicle branches end with 1-4 fls; outer bracts maroon and green outside, yellowish and pubescent inside, fan-shaped w/ 3-5 round lobed tips; top of inner bract and calyx with greenish-yellow papilla; ~9mm white corolla, yellow tip barely exceeds calyx.
