Clipper Mountains: Rock face along wash below Hummingbird Spring. West-northwest of Essex and National Trails Highway (66). South of I-40.; Blind Hills 7.5′
North-facing rock wall. Precambrian sedimentary rock: conglomerate, shale, sandstone, limestone, dolomite, marble, gneiss, hornfels, and quartzite; may be Paleozoic in part. Creosote bush scrub. Clumps frequent in rock cracks.
