Locality  ?   East side of Resting Spring Range Wilderness: ca. 0.38 air miles (~600m) east of 1278T, ca. 1.2 air miles east-southeast of Stewart 1604.7 West of Steward Valley, west of Nevada state line, northwest of Highway 178, ca. 11.5 air miles west-southwestof Pahrump.  
Habitat  ?   Broad wash of gravel and talus. Slope 2-4 degrees, facing S20E (south and southeast). Sand and gravel soil, 10 YR 2/1 black. Cambrian marine rock. Creosote bush scrub on slopes, Cheesebush scrub (Ericameria paniculata and Ambrosia salsola) in wash.
