Sandbar in large wash. Light colored sand, gravel, and rock of mixed alluvium and granite. Area sloping 4-25 degrees, facing north or east-southeast. Pliocene-Pleistocene older alluvium, below hills of Mesozoic or Precambrian gneiss and Mesozoic undivided granitic rocks. Desert wash vegetation surrounded by creosote bush scrub. Occasional along north-facing side of wash.
