Locality  ?   BLMMopah Wash, Mopah Range, eastern Turtle Mountains, north-northeast of Mopah Peak. About 3 miles up wash from road 629 (Heritage Trail), starting about 4.5 miles west of Highway 9 Northwest of Vidal Junction.  
Habitat  ?   Large wash through rocky hills. Slope 2 degrees facing northeast and east. Sand, gravel, 5YR 3-3 dark reddish brown. Quaternary alluvium below hills of Tertiary basalt; possibly also some Precambrian gneiss and schist. Creosote bush scrub and desert wash vegetation.
