Habitat  ?   Area totally burned in Grand Prix Fire (Autumn 2003). Currently open herbaceous vegetation with luxuriant growth of Hirshfeldia incana, Avena barbata, and natives such as Lupinus bicolor, Lotus scoparius. Riparian areas of resprouting Platanus racemosa, Elymus condensatus. Soils are coarse, cobbles and gravels. Some heavy Red Hill type soils on adjoining slopes. Drainages dramatically scoured by recent heavy rains.
