Locality  ?   The Nature ConservancyVilleneuva property; Along the River and lower part of South Mountain, east of river. Started at the end of Mission Rock Road. Between Saticoy and Santa Paula.; Santa Paula 7.5 Quad.  
Habitat  ?   Large wash, east side of river has a large flat bench full of Bromus diandrus. Area up stream had the Arundo mulched. Hills were hot and dry, composed of sedimentary rock. Grazing of cattle at one time (maybe still going on). Infested with Salsola. Growing along sunny hillside. 
Associates  ?   Arundo, Salix sp., Toxicodendron diversilobum, Astragalus trichopodus phoxus, Sambucus nigra caerulea, Phacelia viscida albiflora, Melilotus indicus, Ceataurea benedicta, Croton californicus, Brassica nigra, Urtica urens along river wash. Rhus integrifolia, Juglans californica, Salvia leucophylla, Encelia californica on slopes
