Habitat  ?   Fairly large wash and nearby washlets, in rolling hills. Slope 0-20 degrees, aspect varies: S77E, S65E, N16W, due east. Gravel and sand soil. Pleistocene non-marine deposits (alluvium). 
Morphology Notes  ?   With Olneya tesota, Larrea tridentata, Parkinsonia florida, Ambrosia dumosa, Boerhavia wrightii, Krameria, Encelia farinosa, Chamaesyce polycarpa, Aristida adscensionis, Pectis papposa, Bouteloua barbata, toads, Hibiscus denudatus, Muhlenbergia microsperma. Annual, 0.5-1 ft. tall. Locally scattered in fairly dense patches, about 500 plants in the area.
