Habitat ? | Campground is in a Quercus douglasii woodland, with some Pinus sabiniana, Quercus agrifolia, and platanus racemosa. Short distance up trail the oak woodland remains. But emerge into a shallow soil, sunny dominant Adenostoma fasciculatum forest. Higher up becomes more of Arctostaphylos -Ceanothus- etc chaparral. Soil seems to be a sandstone. Riparian site that we ended was only damp. Growing along spring. In oak woodland. | |
