Around the campground is inholding use for grazing. Mostly grasslands with oaks. Riparian habitat near stream. Chaparral and mostly Quercus douglasii woodland on lower slopes and benches down stream. Nice Pinus coulteri forests up on upper slopes of the south side of creek (Pine Ridge). Upper oak benches had a lot of signs of Sus scrofa. This is a drought year so no running creek water. Only pools of water in deeper depressions. Growing along old road-trail.
