Morphology Notes  ?   Former chaparral association heavily modified by tree planting, brush clearing. Presently an open woodland of planted tree species and chaparral elements. Gently NW facing slope, granitic loam soils, full sun. With Pinus coulteri, P. muricata, Cedrus deodora, Ericameria parishii, Pseudotsuga macrocarpa, Ceanothus leucodermis, Rhus trilobata, Ceanothus greggii var. vestitus, Arctostaphylos gabrielensis. Pale lavender petals, white throat, yellow tube. Occasional.
