Habitat  ?   Steep, bedded sandstone slopes grading into broad, open valley floor of deep alluvium. Slopes with open scrub of Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Isomeris arborea, Ericameria linearifolia, Eriogonum fasciculatum var. polifolium, Yucca whipplei, and Encelia actoni.
